A Podcast Conversation I’m Really Glad We Recorded

I recently sat down with Iván Watanabe, Managing Partner at Opus Private Client, LLC, for a podcast conversation — and I wanted to share it here.

Iván has been my financial advisor for years — long before my divorce. He helped my (then) husband and me get organized, consolidate accounts, and actually understand what we had and how it was invested. When my divorce started, his team stayed with me through some of the most confusing parts, including a QDRO process I truly did not understand at the time. I’m still a client today — and my ex is too — which says a lot about the way Iván works.

This episode was all about my work — why I do it, who I help, and what I’ve learned about preparing for divorce after going through it myself. We talked about the confusion so many women face early on, and how much easier things can feel when you get organized before everything starts moving fast.
